“Salman Khan Will Join Us In Chandigarh For CCL This Time” – Sohail Khan

We Indians are fond of two things – Cricket and movies. So what could be better than a combination of the two?

Yes, you heard that right. We are talking about the Celebrity Cricket League or the CCL as some of you may know it as.  CCL is a non-professional cricket league which has teams from the regional entertainment industry of India.

Started in 2011, CCL has gained popularity throughout the seasons. Now season 8 of the league is all ready to kick off from 27th February. There are a total 6 teams playing in the tournament and one of them is Punjab De Sher.

Punjab De Sher was a part of the tournament in season 6 and now is all ready for season 8. A press conference was organized in Chandigarh for the CCL Teams in which the members of Punjab De Sher team Binnu Dhillon, Sardara Singh, Babbal Rai, Navraj Hans, and Arshad Bali were present on the occasion. It’s the Season 8 and it’s a 4-day tournament played between the six major teams and for the very first time, it is happening in the T10 format.

While interacting with the media, Sohail Khan shared that even Salman Khan was willing to come over to Chandigarh for 2 days during CCL. Bobby Deol, Hans Raj Hans and more elites from the entertainment fraternity were present for the media interaction.

The team Bhojpuri Dabang is led and owned by Manoj Tiwari; Punjab De Sher is led by Sonu Sood and owned by Ayushmann Khurrana, Navraj Hans and Puneet Singh; Mumbai Heroes is led by Retiesh Deshmukh and owned by Sohail Khan. The other teams are Bengal Tigers Telugu Warriors and Karnataka Bulldozers.

CCL starts from February 27 to culminate with a final on March 2.

This is the second season for Punjab De Sher. This time they would be playing in their home ground. The venue of the league is Sector 16 stadium in Chandigarh. We really hope that our Shersare able to give their best performances and we really wish that Punjab De Sher wins the tournament this time. We wish the team all the very best and going with the trend, we only say one thing – How’s the josh?  😉
