Extraordinary effort by a Ludhiana child to study — writes with three fingers of his feet

His skill was first identified and developed by his teacher Jaspreet Kaur who helped him use his feet as his hands for writing.

We constantly fret about our lives being in disorder all the time, despite our efforts we fail to get the act together and move in one direction. Here’s an inspiration for all of us who could put all of us able-bodied people to shame. An 11-year-old boy, Kamaljeet Singh from Ludhiana, studies in Class V. His hands are non-functional and only three fingers of his feet have sensation. Despite this congenital defect, he goes to school and recently he took up his Class V exams.  He writes with three fingers of his feet.

He is good at studies, he sings well, he has interest in drawing and above all, his zeal for life is extraordinary.  His skill was first identified and developed by his teacher Jaspreet Kaur who helped him use his feet as his hands for writing.  His parents made him practise at home. Kamaljeet’s parents told news agency ANI that he has undergone two operations but doctors say that he needs to be operated again. They need funds for his operation and have urged the government and NGOs to help them.
