Early Life
Ninja’s real name is Amit Bhalla. He was born in 1991 in Ludhiana, Punjab. He is from a middle-class family and had never planned to become a singer. He wanted to pursue MBA to get a good and high paying job. He was very good at studies and completed his graduation in Commerce. He continued with Bachelors of Commerce and after that left B.COM because of some financial issues. He has faced many difficulties in his early life. His friends helped him financially so that he could graduate.
Nina’s family runs a small music café. Thanks to this, he had been in touch with music. But, since it was not so profitable, nobody in his family supported or helped him to choose music as his career. Once he participated in a Bhangra competition where he sang Punjabi boliyan and was appreciated a lot for it. With this completion, he realized his musical talent and gave a shot to the field. Following that he participated in many other competitions at school and university levels. He was also the leader of his school team which helped students prepare for dance competitions.
Apart from music, Ninja has worked quite hard on losing weight. He weighed more than 130 kg before he entered Punjabi music Industry. It took him three years to get into shape but his hard work ultimately paid off and the singer today has an amazing body with abs too!
Career
Ninja always wanted to be like Gurdas Mann. He is impressed a lot by his politeness and leadership qualities. Harwinder Bittu was Ninja’s Guru from whom he learned playing many different musical instruments. Apart from that, Pappi Gill – bhangra ustad taught him Punjabi bolliyan. After training, Ninja started performing in jagrans. During those days he met a popular music director Umesh Yadav ‘KARMA’ wala. Umesh acted as a guide to Ninja. In 2017, Ninja’s first song Annd Mannd ka Tola got released which was however a flop and also had copyright issues.
After this, he contacted many companies to release his next song but all demanded a huge amount. He decided to release the song by himself. Thus, ‘Thokda Reha’ – which was his first commercial hit, was released. His fans did not know that he practiced for about eight years and after that, he gained success in the singing field.
