NHAI Approves Four Entry Exit Points On NH44: Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has approved the four entry and exit points within the Ludhiana Municipal Limits on the Delhi-Amritsar Highway (NH 44)- according to the Ludhiana Mayor, Balkar Singh Sandhu. He also expressed gratitude to the Punjab Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu for raising the issue with the NHAI Chairman Sukhbir Singh Sandhu for the residents’ best interest.

Sardar Balkar Singh Sandhu told that the entry and exit points have been planned near Dhandari, near SPS Hospital, near Transport Nagar, and near Greenland School, situated at Jalandhar Bypass. He said that the addition of these entry and exit points would help a large number of city residents who travel on the NH44.

Also, the service road near SPS Hospital has also been constructed again, as told by MC Councillor Mamta Ashu. She stated that this road had been in poor condition for several months and that the issue was brought to the attention of senior NHAI officials, after which the road was built. Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu along with MC Councillor Mamta Ashu paid a visit to the site and also ordered necessary instructions to the officers.
