One topic – Many Movies! Can you guess?

Akshay Kumar’s look from Kesari (based on battle of Saragari) is out, and the film is scheduled to release in 2019 on the occasion of Holi. Much before Akshay, we saw Randeep Hooda’s look from a film based on the same historic event.

So now, as everyone is talking about Dharma Productions’s Kesari, which will be directed by Anurag Singh, the question arises…what happened to Randeep Hooda’s film???

That film was supposed to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and Randeep was pretty excited about the project. He even won praises from Sikh Community for growing his beard and donning a proper Sardari look for the film.

To tell you the truth, there are rumours the Randeep’s film has been shelved!

Besides financial trouble it is also believed that there was a lot of pressure on producers for Santoshi’s film to be shelved. The bigwigs didn’t want this project to come up as few other projects were in pipeline on the same theme.

Ajay Devgan had announced the sequel of Son Of Sardar (based on battle of Saragarhi) which was to be lead by Randeep Hooda sometime back but any further announcements are yet awaited.

Earlier Karan Zohar’s Aye Dil Hai Mushkil & Ajay Devgan’s Shivaay saw a clash at box office and there were medis reports about both of them steaming up against the other. But this time it isn’t the date but the subject that is same..what will happen now??

This isn’t the first time such a goofy situation has risen. Remember what happened to the films based on Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s life?

Out of four films on the martyr’s life, one was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Co-Incidentally, Ajay Devgan was also part of Rajkumar Santoshi’s The Legend Of Bhagat Singh.

Now, lets see if they will repeat the same blunder of making multiple films on the same history chapter. Meanwhile, even a TV serial is also being made on the historic 1897 battle and this series has been titled called 21 Sarfarosh-Saragarhi 1897.

If sources are to be believed, even Pollywood was ready to make a grand film on this subject but after multiple Bollywood announcements on similar lines, the makers are now skeptical about their project.
