Aam Aadmi Party’s vice president of the state transport wing, Jaspal Talwandi today joined Congress party. He had yesterday resigned from AAP. Similarly, Neeraj Sharma, district secretary from Shiv Sena also joined the Congress today.
Talwandi joined the party during a function held at Atma Nagar constituency. “Since Talwandi belongs to Gill constituency, his induction in the party will benefit our constituency as well,” said Congress candidate from Ludhiana, Ravneet Singh Bittu.
Neeraj Sharma from Shiv Sena also joined Congress today. Welcoming Neeraj and his aides into the party, Bittu said Modi government had failed to fulfil any promise made by it in the 2014 elections. “Time has come to change the government and make a right decision,” said Bittu.
