Accompanied by his wife, Emma Thomas, and kids Magnus, Flora, Rory and Oliver along with visual artist, Tacita Dean, Nolan is in India for 3 days, primarily for the event ‘Reframing the Future of Film: in Conversation with Christopher Nolan, Tacita Dean and Shivendra Singh Dungarpur’, which will be held at Mumbai’s Tata Theatre, NCPA this Sunday.
According to a report by Indian Express, the acclaimed Hollywood director is apparently going to be hosted by Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shyam Benegal and Farhan Akhtar.
He has already met actors Kamal Hassan and Shah Rukh Khan, both of whom tweeted about the meeting:
He’s also attended a lecture by British artist Tacita Dean called ‘Process and the Non-deliberate Act: Why the medium of film is important to artists’.
With movies like Inception, The Dark Night Trilogy, Interstellar etc., he’s definitely left a mark in the history of movies, and it’s no wonder he’s promoting a cause that would further allow movies to live on forever!
