Diljit Dosanjh unveils his wax statue at Madame Tussauds Delhi

Diljit Dosanjh is the star of the moment. The Punjabi sensation and Bollywood actor just unveiled his statue at Madame Tussauds Delhi and finally lived his childhood dream. Take a look.

For a star, it is a huge honour to get featured at Madame Tussauds. Udta Punjab star Diljit Dosanjh has finally etched his name in history forever. Yes, Diljit just became the first ever turbaned person to be featured at Madame Tussauds. Diljit finally unveiled his wax figure at Madame Tussauds Delhi. The Punjabi sensation with over 6. 5 million followers all over the world is among the most down to earth stars in the Industry. The Do You Know singer was ecstatic to unveil his statue at the museum in Delhi and had been updating his fans about the same on social media.

Diljit has managed to make a name for himself as a Punjabi singer and performer and now, as a Bollywood actor. He has made an impact with his roles in Bollywood films like Udta Punjab, Soorma and Phillauri. One of his most loved films was with Taapsee Pannu, Soorma, in which he was seen as the Indian hockey player Sandip Singh. The statue was supposed to be unveiled on February 28. But, due to the tension between India and Pakistan at the border, Diljit postponed the event and his action earned a lot of respect from his fans.

Now, finally, Diljit unveiled his wax statue and seemed pretty happy about it. In the photos, we can see him looking at his wax figure in a completely perplexed manner. He spoke to the press at the event and mentioned that as a kid when he visited London, he saw the line outside Madame Tussauds and wondered what was inside. He stated he only dreamt of seeing the museum as a kid but never of having a figure inside it. Now that he has his figure among the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Leone and Virat Kohli, he was filled with gratitude.

Diljit spoke in Punjabi and expressed his thanks to the Madame Tussauds team and also the fans who love him a lot. He even clicked selfies at the occasion with his wax figure. Later, he took to Instagram and wrote, “Aukaat Ghat Te Kirpa Zyada  Dosanjh Kalan Ton @madametussauds @madametussaudsdelhi  Wah Maalka Terian Tu Jaaney  LOVE MY FANS.” (I don’t deserve so much respect but these are blessings of the Almighty.
