District Election Officer Pradeep Kumar Agrawal today said the filing of nomination papers for the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 elections would start from April 22 and would continue till April 29. The scrutiny of the nominations would be done on April 30 and the last date of withdrawal of candidature would be May 2.
The nominations for the upcoming elections would be filed in the office of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer situated in District Administrative Complex, Ludhiana from 11 am to 3 pm from April 22-29, excluding April 27 (Saturday) and April 28 (Sunday).
Pradeep Kumar Agrawal urged the candidates to save themselves from last minute hassle and that they could also pay their security fee in advance. He said the security fee could be paid in the office of Rajan Dhall, Election Kanugo at Room Number 116, first floor, Tehsildar Elections Office, District Administrative Complex, Ludhiana from 9 to 5 on any working day.
