Ajay Devgn and Amir Khan had given us one of the most hilarious rom-coms of the 90s with Ishq. Directed by Indra Kumar, the laugh-riot film has earned the reputation of a classic over the years.
And although the two superstars haven’t returned for another film for a long time, Indra Kumar’s upcoming venture Total Dhamaal did give the chance for an impromptu Ishq reunion.
Earlier today, the makers of Total Dhamaal — the third film in the Dhamaalfranchise — kicked off shoot for the film with a customary mahurat shot. Sounding the clapper board was none other than Aamir Khan himself, who was in attendance for the film’s commencement. Soon enough, Ajay Devgn, who has joined the cast of Total Dhamaal as replacement for Sanjay Dutt, shared an endearing picture with Aamir and Indra Kumar, making us thoroughly nostalgic about the magic of Ishq.

The shooting of Total Dhamaal went on floors this morning at Filmcity Mumbai with the entire star cast being present. Apart from the original cast of Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Riteish Deshmukh and Ashish Chowdhury, the new Dhamaal will feature a bunch of new participants like Ajay Devgn, Boman Irani, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.
The film is scheduled to release on December 7, 2018.
