Girls sweep CBSE Class XII results in Ludhiana

Girls today stole the limelight in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII results by topping in all major streams of medical, non-medical, commerce and humanities in Ludhiana city. In vocational courses, except Financial Market Management, the other two streams of Mass Media and Food Production were also topped by girls.

In the medical stream, Milanpreet Kaur from BCM Senior Secondary School scored the highest marks in the city at 97.4 per cent. In non-medical, Anushka Chaudhary of Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar, topped with 98.2 per cent. In commerce, the top position in the city was shared by Rhythm Singla of DAV Public School and Aaina Makkar of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School with 98.4 per cent. Three students shared the top slot in the humanities stream with 98 per cent and all three girls, Asees Kaur, Niharika and Gurleen, belong to BCM Senior Secondary School.

In vocational courses, two positions in the city were clinched by BCM Senior Secondary School and one by DCM Presidency School.

Ajay Goyal from DCM Presidency School topped the Financial Market Management with 96.2 per cent while Lavanya Kapoor got 95.4 per cent in Food Production. Arshpreet got 97.4 per cent in Mass Media. Both girls are from BCM Senior Secondary School.
