Samsung fans, here’s your chance to buy the Samsung’s last year flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 for just Rs 5,090. The Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart is holding Samsung Mobile Fest days from November 6 to November 8. As part of the three-day sale, the e-tailer is offering discounts on various Samsung smartphones across price segments.
As part of the Samsung Fest, Flipkart is selling Samsung Galaxy S7 at a price of Rs 29,990 after a flat discount of Rs 16,010. The e-talier is also giving an exchange offer wherein buyers can get Samsung Galaxy S7 at Rs 5,090.
As per the offer, buyers can get Samsung Galaxy S7 at Rs 5,090 on exchange of Apple iPhone 7 with the smartphone. This means customers will get a discount of Rs 25,000 on the device on exchange of iPhone 7. The other big discount is available on the exchange of Google Pixel. Buyers can avail discount of Rs 17,000 on the phone.
To recall, Samsung launched Galaxy S7 in March last year in India at Rs 48,900. The smartphone is presently selling at 29,990 on e-commerce websites. Samsung Galaxy S7 offers a 5.1-inch display, weighs 152 grams and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone runs on Exynos 8890 64-bit octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, 12MP dual pixel f/1.7rear camera setup with smart OIS, 5MP selfie camera, 4G support and fast charging, along with all regular connectivity options. Samsung has also incorporated liquid cooling technology to counter heating issues in the phone.
Recently, the company launched its flagship phablet Galaxy Note 8 in India at Rs 67,900. The device comes with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED ‘Infinity’ display with 2960×1440. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat update and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
The phablet packs 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage (only one variant available in India) which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. Galaxy Note 8 is the first device from the company to sport a dual-rear camera setup. The rear camera includes two 12MP sensors, while the first one is a wide angled lens with f/1.7 aperture, the secondary camera includes a telephoto zoom lens with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter with f/1.7 aperture.
